| Dayspring Preschool and Kindergarten reflects the philosophy that the early childhood years are for fun! We understand there is a great deal of learning and discovery through play. We recognize that growth is a process. There are predictable stages of development that children learn and grow. Our responsibility is to understand these developmental stages while offering a program that nurtures and facilitates the growth of each child to his/her highest potential. This developmental approach promotes academic skills within the context of the child’s everyday activities and experiences. We will nurture and expand the skills your child will need to face the future while allowing them to have fun and be children. At Dayspring, we use Teaching Strategy’s Creative Curriculum. This program uses a whole child approach to learning. In addition, it provides children with a foundation that supports a lifelong love of learning. Move over, this program promotes a child’s love of learning. Also, it ensures children are not just educated, but healthy, safe, supported, challenged, and engaged. Constructive and purposeful play is encouraged in the classroom. In other words, The Creative Curriculum believes play is essential to the growth and development of each child.
